For generations to come

Returning to work after the summer break, I find myself with renewed energy, inspiration, and curiosity... Slow, stress-free days and time spent in nature has been nurturing. 🌱

As we move into a new season of projects, decisions, and opportunities, I find myself returning to a simple question: How can we create more value while caring for nature, the climate, and the people we work with? How do we build the conditions that allow people, organisations, and nature to thrive together—not only today, but for generations to come?

The first half of 2026 I led several conferences and workshops, and moderated many debates, but the one that had the biggest influence on me was the one you see in the photos. This was from a two-days conference focused on industry and energi. We had a planned panel debate with the county mayor, a member of Parliament, a head of a power grid company, a managing director of a business association, a municipal energy advisor, and a head of an Industrial Company. Before the debate, six mini-versions of the panelists (all from Villekulla Barne- og ungdomsteater) entered the stage and I got to moderate. I still get chills. They addressed the importance of listening to what others have to say, about coordination and cooperation, about keeping the next generations in mind when moving forward... 🌱

With the voices of those mini-panelists still very clear in my mind, I will do my best in the second half of 2026 to contribute where I can—with knowledge, experience, curiosity, and energy—to organisations that want to create value while helping people, business, and nature thrive together.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:

What do you believe is the biggest opportunity for businesses that want to create value while strengthening people, nature, and society?
